A philosophical reflection on the logic behind "the charms of city"

To many people,living in cities means a comfortable modern life and more career opportunities.The comfortable modern life and career opportunity which are actually concepts about human beings are borrowed to describe a city in that the definition of city itself embodies an important relationship between city environment and human beings.City environment doesn’t exist if separated from human activities and participation in the founding and development of cities.While offering more favorable opportunities for people,cities create more opportunities for the development of their own.At the same time,there are voices about the two contradictions-the relationship between economical growth and city environment and that between economical growth and energy consumption.Consequently,people shouted the slogan "better city,better life." This slogan expresses people’s pursuit of a good inter-personal relationship,a harmony between people and city environment and a harmony between cityscape and nature.
