Institution: | HEYING JENNY ZHAN is a PhD Student in Sociology at the University of Kansas specializing in political sociology, gender and ethnicity. She has an MA in East Asia Studies (Kansas), and did her BA and some graduate work in English Language and Literature at Xiangtan University, Hunan, China. She has also translated Alasdair MacIntyre's Marcuse into Chinese (1988).;ROGER BRADSHAW is the English editor at Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, and has taught English language and literature in China for eight years (1976–1984). He has an MA (and some PhD training) in Far Eastern Languages and Cultures from the University of Chicago. He has also co-translated several books from Chinese to English, all published in China. |
