Based on the philosophies of vision, persistence, accuracy and pragmatism, and in view of the informatization of the society, it is pointed out that the future vision of knowledge service of the library should be clarified, the people＇s freedom to equally acquire knowledge should be emphasized, and the role of library in the social informatization should be defined, so as to make the library resource distribution in accordance with social development.
