论技术与艺术

在不同的社会历史发展时期,人们对技术与艺术二者关系的理解不尽相同。进入新的时期,在此问题上的认识更是人言言殊。事实上,技术的发展不仅深刻改变了艺术的表现方式、制约了艺术的发展水平、丰富了艺术理论,而且艺术也反过来改变了技术的价值评判标准,为技术的普及提供了有效的形式。我们有理由相信,信息时代会有越来越多的艺术工作者达成技术与艺术协调发展的共识。

On Technology and Art

In the different periods of social history, people looked at the relations between art and technology differently. Differences have further grown in this new period. On one hand, technological advances have significantly changed expressions of art, determined the development of art and enriched theories of art. On the other, art has also changed the criteria for evaluating the values of technology and provided effective ways for popularizing technology. We have every reason to believe that in this information age, more and more art workers will lend their support to the coordinated development of art and technology.
