审美的民族性缺失与沉思

一个民族的文化艺术能否在世界文化之林始终具有持久的魅力,不仅取决于这个民族的文化艺术的历史厚度和内涵的深度及其影响力的强度,而且取决于该民族对于自己民族的文化艺术的感情和态度,即是否能始终以深厚的民族感情对本民族的灿烂文化予以继承、丰富和发展。审美的民族性是一个民族审美成熟的标志。既反对民族虚无主义,又反对用保守的固定不变的态度来对待自己的民族传统所固有的东西。既要求保持本民族文化艺术的民族特点,又要求从世界的、时代的文化艺术中吸取营养和有益的东西。这是文化艺术民族性的本质要求,也是对待审美民族性的科学态度。要注重培育审美的民族意识。

Contemplation on the Absence of Aesthetic Nationality

Whether the culture and arts of a nation could have long-lasting glamour in the forest of world cultures depends not only on historical depth,connotation depth and intensity of influence of this nation's culture and arts,but also on the emotion and attitude of treating his own culture and arts,namely,whether we can inherit,enrich and develop our national magnificent culture with the deep national sentiments all the time.The aesthetic nationality is a symbol of aesthetic ripeness of a nationality.We object to the national nihilism as well as the attitude of treating one's own traditional inherent things of nationality with the conservative immobilizing view.We should not only keep our national characteristics of our culture and arts but also acquire the nutritious and beneficial things in culture and arts from the world.This is an essential demand for establishing our unique national culture and arts and also this is the scientific attitude of treating our national aesthetic characteristics.Besides,we should attach importance to fostering national aesthetic consciousness among young students.
