| Abstract: | The Dragon-boat Race in China originates from the following three major sayings;dragon totemism,commemoration of Qu Yuan,and blessing of prosperity.The dragon-boat race has experiences three developiong periods ever since;the period of sprouting ;the period of cultural essence;and the period of commercial culture.Today,the modernization of the dragon-boat race has become one of the important issues in the world's sports. |
