| Abstract: | Mount Putuo is not merely a Buddhist mountain, but a cultural mountain as well. It is a Buddhist kingdom amidst the sea and sky, which has not only merged the Chinese culture, western regional culture and the whole eastern culture but also has integrated Guanyin belief, landscapes and seascapes as well as the historical revolution into an organic whole. Therefore, we need to make an all - round study of Mount Putuo culture on the levels of nature, history and religion in order to get a better understanding of the original cultural Mount Putuo. |
