An Analysis of the Conceptual Transformation Motivated with the Renaissance and the Protestant Reformation

The Renaissance is viewed as an attempt to discover both the beauty of world and the beauty ofhumanity to manifest people＇s appeal externally. The Protestant Reformation broke directly the shackle offeudalism in the course of social reform movements and the achievement of human liberation. The conceptualtransformation in the Renaissance and the Reformation, which interweaved with each other, was motivated by ablend force from social development. Accordingly the inherent driving force of capitalist development, thewidespread humanism, the ideas of humanists and the ethics of the Reformation are embodied in theestablishment of universities, the Latin language, the speech, the geographical discovery and the development onatural science throughout Europe.
