The Connotation and Significance of the Information Technology Construction in Education

The author has taken a close look at the strategic signiticance of reinforcing the information technology construction in education,and has suggested in this article that there be four tasks to be accomplished not only in the development of modern distant education and information industry,but also in the realization of educational modernization,and in the cultivation of informational talents. The article also deals systematically with the guiding ideology and principle,theoretical research,program,management,investment,basic construction,resource storage and the policies in many aspects.
