《庄子注》的著者归属之争与中国哲学史料的厘定方法

《庄子注》的著者归属问题,至今在中国哲学史界和思想史界争讼不已。此问题的提出,主要来自《晋书》的《向秀传》和《郭象传》。后人对此问题的诸种不同判定也主要依据上述向、郭传中的记载。考察这一疑案的争讼,可以看出,史料的厘定除以史实为基本的出发点和参照点外,还要以历史事件发展的内在逻辑作为另一参照点,史实法与逻辑法的结合是厘定哲学史料的一般原则。

Of the Authorship of Annotations to the Zhuangzi and the method for Collating and Stipulating Historical Materials of Chinese Philosophy

The argument on the authorship of the Annotations to the Zhuangzi hitherto continued. The problem came first from the two biographies in History of the Jin Dynasty: A Biography of Guo Xiang and A Biography of Xiang Xiu. The later arguments were based on these biographies. A study of these arguments we find there would be two ways for collating and stipulating materials of Chinese philosophy, the method based on historical facts and the method by using logical inference. The best is to use the two methods combined.
