对语言功能翻译的认识

在翻译中 ,译者不仅要有“语义意识” ,还要有“功能意识” ,力争做到译文与原文的意义等值、功能等同 ,才能确保译文的准确性。语言功能有多种类型 ,有时几种功能融合在一起 ,且有主次之分。译者务须准确判定语言功能 ,在突出主要功能的同时 ,应尽量体现次要功能。从文化、审美、修辞、韵律、习惯表述方法、语言实际效果诸方面入手 ,可较好地传译原文的语言功能

Recognition of Language Performative Translation

In translation,a translator should possess not only a semantic notion but a functional sense as well.To ensure the accuracy in translation,every translator is supposed to make every endeavour to realize semantic and pragmatic equivalence.There are many sorts of language function,some of which are at times mingled with one another with their grades in subordination.So a translator is required to identify precisely the language functions,giving prominence to the main while stressing the less important ones from culture,aesthetics,rhetoric and rhythm to idiomatic expressions and actual effects.Only in this way can he translate the originals better.
