| Abstract: | This paper discusses the educational though presented by Eastern Zhejiang school of thought,the representatives of which were Zhu Zhiyu,Chen Que and Huang Zongxi,all of whom lived between the late Ming Dynasty and the early Qing Dynasty.The school of thought focuses on practical education while strongly criticizing the then imperial examination system.It had far-reaching influences on China at the time and afterwards. |
