《诗经·国风》中情礼冲突之再评价

“礼”历来被认为是压抑和禁锢个性的工具 ,遭到猛烈抨击 ,而对其在一定历史条件下的进步作用人们往往视而不见 ;“礼”的形成和存在 ,实际是出于对群体利益的关照 ,情礼冲突的实质是个体对自由的追求和自由在一定历史条件下的有限性的矛盾 ,是社会的整体进步和个体利益必要舍弃之间的“二律背反”。从这一角度说 ,“礼”的价值值得再思考 ,情礼冲突的实质可以再评价。

A New Assessment of the Clashes Between Convention and Emotion in Ballads and Songs of The Book of Poetry

Convention" has ever since been considered to be a means used to depress and confine individuality.Therefore it has been assailed vigorously.The assailers,however,have turned a blind eye to its progressive function.Its establishment and existence,in fact,proceed from solicitude for the interests of the masses.The crux of the clashes between convention and emotion is the fact that the individul seek after freedom,that freedom is the limited contradiction in certain historical circumstances,and that it is the antinomies between the whole social advance and the necessary abandonment of the individual interests.Argued from this point of view,the value of "convention" warrants our reconsideration and the clashes between convention and emotion should be given a new assessment.
