A Study about Company Governance in Japan's Securities Industry

With financial reformation, Japanese securities companies can engage in more business activities and have less requirements to be set up.The paper analyzes the changes accompanying with it in competition situations and governance of securities companies. Then the paper systematically studies the governance mechanism of Japanese securities companies in such new situations,including shareholding structure, capital size, internal governance structure and external governmental regulation.The results in this paper provide good references for the development of securities companies in China.
