| Abstract: | Ma Yifu put forward three methods of self-cultivation such as reading,inquiring and self-restraining that were originated from the theory of Zhuxi,aiming to treat and cure the diseases of his time.Ma Yifu's theory of self-cultivation derived from his practice of self-cultivation,which constitutes a new part of Confucianism. |
