元认知和外语学习

摘    要:元认知在外语学习中起着非常重要的导向和协调作用,因为它不仅涉及知识,而且涉及对学习的控制。本文在探索元认知与外语学习的关系的基础之上,提出在外语教学过程中有必要加强元认知策略的培训以及如何进行元认知策略培训,以期培养学生外语学习中的元认知潜能,提高学生的自主学习能力。

Abstract:Metacognition is very important to foreign language learning and teaching because it involves not only the knowledge,but also the control of learning.The paper explores the relationship between metacognition and foreign language learning,and indicates that metacognitive strategies play an important role in foreign language learning.The writer suggests that English teachers should develop students' metacognitive strategies and teach students how to learn all their lives,and proposes some suggestions for training of metacognitive strategies.
