摘    要:文章论述了基于规则的英汉机器翻译试验系统中词典的设计思想和构造方法 ,以一部综合英语词汇学、句法学、语义学、语用学等语言学知识和汉语语言学、英汉比较语言学等知识于一体的英汉转换词典代替传统的基于多部词典的机器翻译方法。试验表明该词典在解决英语词汇歧义、结构歧义、提高汉语译文准确率等方面较为有效

Abstract:This paper is intended to focus on the discussion of design principle and construction of an integrated lexicon to be used in our Matlink English?to?Chinese Machine Translation System which is now under development. Experimental evidence indicates that this lexicon has, in lexical disambiguation, syntactical disambiguation, and improvement of accuracy of target language translation, an obvious advantage over traditional RBMT method of application of multiple machine dictionaries conventionally including main dictionary, phrase dictionary, homonymy and polysemy dictionary, and structure dictionary.
