一般认为,《红楼梦》中有三个神话,即石头神话、神瑛侍者与绛珠仙草的神话、太虚幻境的神话。它们之间是否是矛盾的?它们是否都可以叫做是神话?它们与《红楼梦》的主旨的关系是什么?根据神话的内涵,后两者不能叫神话;第一个神话,作者也只是利用它作为缘起,由此敷衍出来的故事不能叫神话。既然三者都不是神话,它们之间也就不存在不可调和的矛盾。“石头神话”涉及到了《红楼梦》的叙事风格和小说主旨。

The Stone Mythology in A Dream of Red Mansions

Usually, the researchers think there are three mythologies in A Dream of Red Mansions, i.e. the stone mythology, the Shenying Servent and Jiangzhu Grass mythology and the fairyland mythology. Are they contradictory? Can they be called mythologies? What relations between these mythologies and the substance of A Dream of Red Mansions? On the basis of the mythology connotation, the last two can not be called mythologies, as to the first mythology, only as the introduction of the story. Since these three are not mythologies, and there are not contradiction that can not be reconcilable among them. The stone mythology relates to the recountal style and the story substance.
