越地环境与越文化复杂内涵之生成

文章依据文化发生学关于地域文化最初特征取决于其生存环境的理论,就越地理环境的三个基本特征,即背山而面海的地理格局,环境险恶而孤悬海隅的地理位置,南山陵北水泽两大区块构成的地貌特征,论述了越文化复杂内涵生成的原始基因:大陆心态与海洋心态交织而成的开拓而保守的性格矛盾,务实理性与空灵超脱共存而成的对立文化质素的互容,厚重朴鲁与明慧文巧相兼而成的刚烈之性与柔婉之气的融化相生;文章并特别就其两种文化品格对立共存中何者为主导问题作了分析。

Yue''''s Geographical Features and the Generation of Yue Culture

This paper attempts to investigate the underlying reasons for the creation of Yue culture marked by complexities and contradictions.Drawing on relevant theories of Cultural Generative Studies,the author concludes that the generation of Yue culture was largely attributable to the personality traits and cultural character of its ancient inhabitants.Specifically,these people are found to be both pioneering and conservative,practical and unworldly,intelligent and slow-minded.
