| 摘 要： | 正如生物进化一样,语言也在不断地变化。经过历时演变与地域演变,英语产生了两大主流变体———美式英语与英式英语。这两种变体的差异广泛存在于语音、语法及拼写方面,其中语音差异主要体现在元音字母、辅音字母及字母组合中,存在范围最为广泛。

| Abstract: | As a result of chronic and regional evolution, English has developed into many varieties, of which American English and British English are the two major ones. The differences of the two varieties lie in pronunciation, grammar and spelling. Pronunciation differences are embodied in vowel letters, consonant letters and letter combinations. |
