| Abstract: | We attempt to develop further the blockmodeling of networks, so as better to capture the network structure. For this purpose a richer structure than ordinary (valued) graphs has to be used for a model. Such structures are valued graphs with typified (complete, dominant, regular, etc.) connections. Based on the proposed formalization, the blockmodeling is cast as an optimization problem. |
