| 摘 要： | 在目前的应试教学状态下，英语口语能力的培养得不到重视。原因之一是因为期末成绩测试不包括口试。本从当前英语口语教学的现状、大学英语教学大纲的要求、测试对教学的反拨作用及学生的学习需求等几方面论述了成绩测试包括口试的必要性。

| Abstract: | Spoken English practice is neglected in most English classes. One of the reasons is that spoken English is not included in the test. This thesis discusses the necessity of testing spoken English ability in the final test by studying the syllabus, present English teaching and testing in China, and learners' needs. |
