Since the 1990s,construction of service government has become an important trend of administrative reform in Western countries and even the whole world.As one of public services which government provides,employment service for the citizens is a very important indicator in construct a service government.This paper put promote employment as breakthrough and the focal point of construction of service government.By analyzing our country's employment situation and the government's responsibilities,discuss the strategic choices of service government in promoting employment.
