边境经济合作区的功能定位

边境经济合作区是中国改革开放基本国策的产物。边境经济合作区建立以来,存在着贸易形式不规范、贸易基础薄弱、贸易结构不均衡等问题。现阶段,为适应中国成为WTO成员国和实现十六大提出的全面建设小康社会的宏伟目标的新形势,需要对边境经济合作区做出新的功能定位。结合经济地理环境分析,边境经济合作区应具有增长极、经济通道、产业结构优化等七个方面的功能定位。

The coming of economic zone in the border areas of china is the result of fundamental national policy of opening and reform of China.Since the establishment of the Zone,there are some problems such as the informal trade form,the weak basis of trading as well as the unbalanced trade structure and so on.Nowadays,to meet the needs of the new situation that China has entered the WTO,it's quite necessary to make a position to the new function of these economic cooperation zone.After analyzing from the economic geographical environment angle,we get a conclusion that the economic zone in the border areas should have seven functions as mentioned in the article.
