《学衡》与东南大学

现代学术与现代教育、现代期刊和现代出版之间存在着一种同步甚至互存的关联。正如《新青年》、《新潮》与北京大学之间的关系一样 ,“五·四”时期的《学衡》与东南大学之间也存在着一种精神气质、文化追求和学术风格上的内在一致性。这种一致性至少从当时东南大学的主事者以及各系科领袖人物们的办学思想和学术路向上反映出来。对于这种关系 ,包括其形成的更深层的历史文化背景和现实表现形态 ,本文予以了历史性的分析和阐发 ,并籍此对东南大学时期《学衡》的文化倾向及其现实遭际作了历史性的说明

Xue Heng and Southeast University

Modern learning is inherently related to modern education, modern periodicals and modern publishing materials. Just like the relationship between the New Youth, the Renaissance and Beijing University, Xue Heng is also historically harmonized with Southeast University in spirit, cultural pursuit and learning style, which was represented not only by the magazine Xue Heng , but also by the ideas of the leaders of Southeast University. This thesis attempts to make a historical analysis of this relation, as well as its historical cultural background and realistic representation.
