| Abstract: | This article first analyzes features of each stage in the development and reformation of Liede Village, one of urban villages in Guangzhou and then talks about the mode of ＂ Reforming on the Spot and Restructuring on the Whole＂ which is based on ＂Four Zones＂ layout. It also summarizes characteristics of redeveloping Liede Village from the aspect of social ecological elements such as space, economy and community, etc. Enlightenments for urban village redevelopment in the angle of urban renewal are drawn up. |
