《毛诗序》旨趣及其背景之我见

本文通过对《毛诗序》文本的考察，认为《毛诗序》在解诗中寄寓了以民为本、为政以德的德政思想，其旨趣在于引古匡今，以道制君，有其历史进步性。本文又分析了《毛诗序》产生的历史、时代背景，认为一时代有一时代之学术，《毛诗序》虽然存在严重的附会政教的弊端，但也具有一定的历史合理性，其价值尚有待进一步发掘。

The paper, through an investigation into the text of Preface to Scholar Mao's Interpreta- tions for m Book of Songs, comes to the understanding that the book is historically progressively-minded in that, in praise of the benevolent rule in its interpretations of the songs, it rectifies tile doings of the day with reference to the past and stresses constraint on the king of the state by putting people as the foun- dation of the state. ms paper comes to the conclusion that any age has its own academic undertakings and that the book, despite the many defects of its complaisance towards the authorities, has its historical reasonability with its value pending further investigation.
