The Style and Translation of Chinese and Japanese Assertive Sentences

Common Style", "Formal Style", "Literal Style", "Speech Style" and "Respectful Style" of Japanese assertive sentences have become problems in Japanese teaching. The paper first gives a complete investigation of the styles of modern Japanese assertive sentences, and then makes comparison with the styles of Chinese assertive sentences. This paper also discusses the translation of different Japanese assertive sentences into Chinese.
