The Philosophical Base of Korean Practical Science

Among the various streams of practical philosophies, the thinking styles of Hong, Dae-Yong and Jungjo are very similar to each other thought they have important differences in the way of solving the national problem. The commonness between them is that they all reached the boundary of practical science as a development of the traditional Korean Confucian philosophy. Hong, Dae-Yong was a critical worshiper of Chu Shi, and the thought of Hong, Dae-Yong derives from the Chu Shi's moral philosophy. His unique viewpoint of universe and earth brought him the value of the cosmic structure toward equal existence in a plural centered system.
