中国南方地区的古代种族

半个世纪以来地下出土的古人类学资料表明 ,我国秦岭、淮河以南的广大南方地区是人类起源、发展和现代智人形成的重要地区。先秦时期的南方地区古代居民大致可分为三个种系类型 :古华南类型、古中原类型和峡江地区类型。古华南类型可能代表了广义的“古越人”的种系特征 ,他们与历史上陆续南迁的北民在长时间的共存、同化、融合的基础上形成了今天的华南汉族和其他众多少数民族。古中原类型主要分布于江汉平原和长江下游一带 ,其中心分布区在黄河中下游地区。峡江地区类型或许与巴人的起源有关

Racial Types of the Ancient Population in South China

The paper discusses the problem about the racial types of ancient population lived in South China. The author holds the idea that the ancient human people lived in this area before Qin Dynasty can be divided into three racial types: Ancient South China Type, Ancient Central China Type and Yangtze River Gorge Type. The first type (Ancient South China Type ) belonged to the "Ancient Yue Nationality", who were the main original inhabitants in this area. The ancient population lived in Jianghan Plain belonged to the Ancient Central China Type. But the center of region inhabited by them was the Mid-lower Yellow River area. The population of the Yangtze River Gorge Type mainly lived in the Three Gorge region of the Yangtze River. They maybe related to the origin of the "Ancient Ba Nationality".
