| 摘 要： | 用 Penny Ur标准评估表明 ,《新世纪大学英语系列教材》以现代应用语言学理论为指导 ,编写思路体现认知规律 ,内容形式新颖 ,编排合理 ,基本符合教学大纲提出的目的和要求 ,新教材注重学生学习策略的构建和自学能力的加强 ,适应以学生为主体的自主学习模式。该教材受到学生的欢迎 ,但学生调查反馈信息中有缩短文章篇幅 ,增加体裁种类 ,减少生词量等改进意见

| Abstract: | Penny Ur reveals that New Century College English derives from the modern theories of applied linguistics. The textbook is well organized with rich contents. It stresses on the acquisition of learning strategies and abilities to learn by oneself. Based on the feedback from student survey, the paper suggests the following for improvement: to make the texts shorter; to include more types of texts and reduce the number of new words. |
