| 摘 要： | 语言中性化是应用英语的一个趋势，探究其演变历史和现状是很有趣的，也是很有意义的。纵观英语“性”的演变史，我们可以发现，随着社会由以男性为主导到朝向男女平等的变化，英语的“性”发展也有一个趋势，即由原来的以阳性词为主导逐步朝向中性化方向演变。该拟以名词“Man”和代词“he”用法的演变为例，对此加以探讨。

| Abstract: | The use of neutral language is a tendency of English development. It's very interesting and significant to preview its history of evolution and its present situation. After a general observation of the history of three genders in English, we can find that, with the development of our society from a male-centered to male-female equality, there is a trend in the genders of English that neutral words are used instead of male-gender words. This article will take man and he for example to explain this trend. |
