中古时期阿拉伯城市的兴起与发展

中古时期的阿拉伯城市大致可分为四类:第一类是由阿拉伯半岛上的古老城镇发展起来的城市;第二类是由阿拉伯人在军事扩张中建设的军营发展起来的城市;第三类是在阿拉伯人征服地区原有城镇的基础上加以扩建的城市;第四类是阿拉伯人在和平时期兴建的城市。中古时期的阿拉伯城市规模较大,城市设施比较齐全,具有浓郁的伊斯兰色彩和独特的阿拉伯风情。
