摘    要:自有住房是居民消费价格指数(CPI)中争议最大的项目之一。自有住房的相关费用应怎样核算直接影响到CPI指标的准确度和可信度。美国的价格指数统计实践表明,等值租金法是一个可行的处理方法。学习美国的成熟经验,反思我国CPI体系中有关自有住房费用的处理方式,将有助于寻找未来可能的变革途径。然而,经济理论中对自有住房的性质还存在一些分歧,可能会影响我国未来的CPI改革方向。
