大学生英语发音与听力水平相关性研究

摘    要:基于"自下而上"的听力理解模型,文章对非英语专业大学生的发音与其听力水平的相关性进行了定量研究。统计结果显示,大学英语学习者发音水平与其听力水平呈现出正相关。此外,对于听力熟练程度较高的学习者来说,"节奏"是影响他们听力理解的主要因素,而对于听力熟练程度较低的学习者来说,"音素"的发音仍是需要克服的难点。

Abstract:Based on the review of bottom-up approach of listening comprehension, this paper investigates the correlation between College EFL learners' pronunciation and listening. The result shows that there is a positive linear correlation between students' pronunciation and listening. To further the study, the paper probes the phonetic factors that contribute most to their listening, and finds out that "rhythm" is the biggest obstacle for the skilled-listener group, while "phoneme" affects less-skilled students' listening most.
