南亚现代家族政治研究

现代家族政治是指在民主制度下,某些家族的成员由于拥有特殊的资源,能够在多次选举中当选并执掌政权,使得这些家族中的权力人物呈现出代际延续性。南亚的印度、巴基斯坦、斯里兰卡和孟加拉,家族政治现象尤为普遍。这与南亚四国社会和政治发展的历史、政党制度的不发达有关,也是政治家族及其成员拥有先天的政治资本导致的。家族政治阻碍了政党制度的发展,有悖于民主的发展。从民主制度的发展来看,家族政治将走向瓦解。

The Study of Family Politics in South Asia

Modern family politics means that some families can win the election more than once and take control of the political power for a long time because they possess special resources.This often leads to intergenerational continuity of power.Family politics is particularly prevelent in India,Pakistan,Sri Lanka and Bengladesh of south Asia.It is rooted in the society and political development history of these countries.It is also related to the under-development of party politics and to the political capital possesed by these families.Family politics obstructs the development of party politics,and is the opposite of democracy.With the advancement of democracy,family politics is doomed to collapse.
