Abstract:How to define the relation between Syllables and Rhyme of Standard Chinese and nanqu tunes(Southern Operas)? This remains a focus of study on traditional operas in the late Ming Dynasty.The relevant researches not only involve some specific phonologic problems,but also reflect the social and cultural psychology of the Mid Ming Dynasty and the following periods.
