基本颜色词的隐喻认知研究——以汉日英语言中的“红”和“绿”为例

感知是人类对所感觉到的数据进行选择、整理和加工，以理解客观世界的过程。不同语言中颜色词的相似意义表明人类认知的统一性，但颜色词意义的延伸，即多义性还与人类和所处的自然、社会以及文化环境的互动密切相关。通过隐喻认知，颜色词的基本意义投射到不同的领域，产生民族独特的隐喻含义。研究颜色词的隐喻意义有助于了解不同文化的认知模式，减少交际中的障碍，促进颜色词翻译的准确性。

A Study on Basic Color Terms of Red and Green in Chinese, Japanese and English from Cognitive Metaphor

Perception is the process of selecting,organizing,and interpreting sensory data in a way that enables us to make sense of our world.Similarity in the meaning of some color terms in different languages reflects the universal elements in human cognition.However,since our perception of color terms is based on our interaction with physical,social and cultural environment around us,the polysemy of color terms,i.e.,the extension of color terms can not be separated from them.By means of metaphorical mapping,the basic meaning of color terms are projected into other domains,forming connotations which are unique to that culture.Research into the metaphorical meaning of color terms can help us better understand the connotation of color terms,decreasing the obstacles in intercultural communications and improve the accuracy of translation of color terms.
