Inspirations of Kreshen's Input Hypothesis to English Teaching in High Schools

Kreshen put forward the famous second language acquisition that included five hypotheses: the acquisition-learning hypothesis,the natural order hypothesis,the monitor hypothesis,the affective filter hypothesis and the input hypothesis.The input hypothesis is the core of Kreshen’s theory.The article introduces five hypotheses separately,expounds the characteristics of the ideal language learning,and analyzes the problems in the current English teaching in high schools so as to obtain some inspirations from Kreshen’s input hypothesis.
