傅斯年与钱穆的交往和分歧

On the Communication and Conflict Between Fu Sinian and Qian Mu

Fu Sinian and Qian Mu, the two distinguished scholars communicated with each other in 1930's but later parted for their different historic viewpoints. Their example partially mirrored the fact of the union and secession of various modern Chinese schools of history, and the fact of the cultural psychology of the intellectuals at that time. In this sense, a systemic study of the relationship between Fu and Qian is no doubt beneficial to the understanding of the then educated people and the status quo.
