An Expounding of the Boxer-Indemnity-for-Education Movement Advanced by the Education Community in the ROC Age

After U.S.remission of indemnity,particularly after the breakout of the First World War,extensive movements of Remission for Education rolled out in the education community of the Republic of China（ROC）.Members of the community came to Europe for advocacy and negotiation aimed at the remission,and arouse public consensus in China about Remission for education,thus bringing about a climax for the movement.The movement propelled by the education community invited great attention to the Box Indemnity,accelerated its remission from the western countries,and laid solid foundations for the use of the Remission for education.
