论广东新兴大学的基本特征

８０年代广东各地相继创办了１０余所多科性或综合性大学，新大学的崛起与广东地方经济社会的发展互为依托。本文分别从建校目的、办学宗旨、规模效益和“大学效应”等四个方面概括并总结了其基本特征。

The basic features of the newly rising universitiesin Guangdong Province

During the 1980s, a doaen polytechnics or comprehensive universities were establishedsuccessively at various places in Guangdong Province. The rise of these new universities and the develop-ment of local economic societies interdepend.In this paper,the basic features of these newly risinguniversities are summarized in the four aspects namely ,purposes of their establishment,tenors of univer-sity running,their scoped and benefits,and the issue of “university effect”.
