| Abstract: | The characteristics, structure and model strategy for ASON/ASTN (automatic switched optical network/automatic switched transport network) are analyzed. This model strategy for ASTN supports migration of exiting transport network systems to ASTN networks and can strengthen the connection between IP and OTN. |
