关联理论视觉下的中国学生英语交际语用失误分析

摘    要:在跨文化交际中,言语沟通是双方建立良好合作关系的前提。由于对目标语言的理解和使用不当,以及对目标文化的不了解,外语学习者的交际时常发生语际语用失误,这阻碍了跨文化交流,不利于外语学习的提高和国人的对外发展。有学者认为文化迁移是造成跨文化交际语用失误的根本原因,本文将运用关联理论探究中国学生英语交际语用失误,并尝试提出跨文化交际语用失误的规避方法,如了解英语国家的思维习惯、学习对方的文化传统,避免从本族文化出发判断谈话内容和方式;在交际中正确给出明示,推理出对话者的交际意图。

Abstract:In cross-cultural communication,verbal communication is the basis of establishing and maintaining good relationship with each other.However,because of misunderstanding and misuse of target language and lack of background knowledge of the target culture,inter-lingual pragmatic failures often pose a threat to cross-cultural communication and go against the further development of Chinese people.Some scholars think of culture transfer as the main cause of cross-cultural pragmatic failure.This paper will probe into cross-cultural pragmatic failures of Chinese students from the perspective of Relevance Theory(RT),and make an attempt to illuminate the ways of avoiding such failures.
