On Multidimensional Explanations of Translation Process through Conceptual Blending Theory

Based on his Mental Space Theory,Gilles Fauconnier puts forward Conceptual Blending Theory(CBT) which consists of four primary spaces(two input spaces,a generic space and a blended space).The four spaces form a conceptual network.Translation process is a dynamic cognitive process with multidimensional factors involved.The paper will apply CBT to the explanations of translation process and translation models and the explanations of the relationships among the factors in translation process.
