| Abstract: | A historical survey on changes of China's consumption policies since its foundation reveals that the traditional overlook of consumption in China is largely due to the failure to set up modulating mechanism over consumption policies, which has resulted in the stagnation in consumption. Thus the paper calls for emergency to establish consumption policy mechanism in the hope of ensuring a steady increase in consumption demand. |
