融合电力行业特色的MBA商务英语案例教学

以案例教学为核心的工商管理硕士（MBA）课程已经呈现出宽领域、多层次的特点,在国内外的商务英语教学实践中得到了广泛认可。然而,部分结合行业特点、特别是结合电力行业特色的MBA商务英语案例教学均或多或少地存在着针对性不强、结合不够紧密、与公共英语基础课教学类似等问题,并最终导致商务英语案例教学无法完美地实现最终目标。针对上述不足,本文在分析MBA商务英语案例教学现状的基础上,关注电力企业国际化战略,紧密结合电力行业特色,探索并提出融合电力行业特色的,重实践、重自主学习MBA商务英语案例教学模式,以期为未来的电力MBA商务英语案例教学提供参考。

Teaching MBA Business English by Utilizing Cases from Power Industry

The curricula of MBA centering on case study from industries have become extensively overcasting and multi-leveled,thus receiving good acceptance in Business English teaching at home and abroad.However,the cases in English focusing on power industry are far from being directive,practical and complete.Such a Business English classroom is very similar to a Band6 College English teaching,therefore unable to reach the goal of MBA teaching.Targeting at the above insufficiencies,the author carried out a case analysis classroom teaching with the aim to combine the cases with the background information and recent development of power industry in the implementation of internationalizing strategy of power enterprises.Hopefully,such a case-discussion-oriented teaching with stress on practice and self-motivated learning,can offer reference to the organization of the Business English course for electrical MBA candidates.
