| Abstract: | The tedency of eulogizing ghosts in the novel Tales of Ghosts reflects the novelist Pu Songling's unique aesthetic choice. The meeting of both human beings and ghosts in Tales of Ghosts fills life with happy surprises and excitement, which is a combination of poetic state and imaginery state. And yet the personality remouding of the ghosts to be praised embodies Pu Songling's unworldly ideal of life. |
