Importance of Lexical Cohesive Ties in CET-6 Writing

Cohesive ties play an important role in the cohesion of a text.In the light of the theories on cohesion theory and coherence of discourse,this paper analyzes the application of lexical cohesive ties in the writing part of College English Test-Band-6(CET6) and points out that it is important to use lexical ties properly if a good score is to be gained in the writing of CET-6.Therefore,teachers should pay due attention to the introduction and application of lexical cohesive ties in their writing classes.
