Abstract: | Oats: Oats are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, folic acid and potassium. Fiberrich oats can reduce levels of "bad cholesterol" in the blood (low-density lipoprotein, LDL) and help keep the arteries clean. We recommend rough oatmeal because instant oatmeal contains less dietary fiber. |
